The Forest of Dean Crematorium is set right in the middle of the Forest and provides a picturesque setting for funerals from Chepstow, Monmouth, Lydney and Ross-on-Wye.
The Crematorium is situated on the B4226 approximately one mile set of Cinderford on the Speech House Road and is uniquely designed to nestle into the forest landscape.
Built in local timber and stone, it has a natural, simple appearance, in keeping with the surrounding scenery. The chapel is light and spacious and fitted with an excellent music system. An organ is available to play more traditional pieces and families choose whatever arrangement of music they feel is suitable to make the service unique. An excellent PA and loop system has also been installed to ensure that everyone can hear clearly.
30 minutes is normally allowed in the chapel per service and an hour between the start of each service extra time can be booked for the chapel if required. |
